Governor Zulum Inaugurates ultra modern Hospitals in Biu

Borno State Governor, professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has commissioned two state-of-the-art hospitals in Biu Local Government Area, marking a significant milestone in the state's healthcare development.
The newly inaugurated facilities include a 40 bed eye hospital and a 30 bed dental hospital, both equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities. The hospitals are expected to provide critical services to residents of southern Borno and surrounding communities
Daily champion reports "The eye hospital is designed to address the growing need for ophthalmological care in southern Borno, providing specialized treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and vision-related ailments. Also a team of highly trained medical doctors and specialists will be appointed to provide quality care.
Similarly the dental hospital is set to provide comprehensive oral health services, including preventive care, orthodontics, and restorative treatments, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for dental care.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony in Biu, the headquarters of Biu local government. Champion reports "Governor Zulum emphasized his administration's commitment to improving the quality of life for Borno citizens, highlighting healthcare as a key pillar of the state's 25 year Development Plan and 10 year Strategic Transformation Initiative.
